The Tel Aviv Running Club was founded by runners for runners.
The purpose of the Club is to serve men and women of all ages for whom the running experience is new, as well as marathon and other competitive runners. It aims to provide an appropriate and supportive environment to anyone who regards running as a means to achieve goals and fulfill dreams.
Club members constitute a diverse range of enthusiasts who have taken to running for a variety of reasons, ranging from weight loss, improving and maintaining fitness levels and keeping in good shape, to alleviating the stress of day to day living and enjoying the benefits of a communal group experience. Whatever their personal reasons for joining, all feel that running contributes to enhancing health and happiness.
The Club's program provides every runner, at any level, with an opportunity to run in a group that suits his/her capabilities. Running sessions of different paces and distances take place several times a week, allowing each runner to join a group that most matches his needs.
The running world is a broadening and thrilling one. In addition to weekly training sessions, the Club also offers a variety of group and individual activities for its members and their families.
The ultimate purpose of the runner is the achievement of goals and the fulfillment of dreams. The ultimate purpose of the Tel Aviv Running Club is to provide an appropriate platform for runners to achieve those goals through a number of diverse activities that take them to where they want to go.
These activities include lectures on running nutrition, participation in training camps in Israel and abroad, and unique, “once-in-a-lifetime” trips and experiences.
